James,
FROM_GUID always stores the main ID of your library parts – so “27D27CB8-5923-458A-80FA-6A8EC6B78CFF-CD32FA39-611C-47A7-A038-153F79AB5332” seems a bit too long, I think only the first half will be your old ID. The new main ID should be different – but in your sample it’s the same, so first change the main ID of yout object, then change the script to follow up this change from the old main ID to the new one.

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterYou should not store any values, as they can be changed without running the object’s paramscript.

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterHi Pavel,
LP_XMLConverter does not have a function for that.
I suggest to change the libparts’ Main ID during step 3. It is in the first lines of the xml, as
MainGUID="0884EDB2-4B1B-4247-874E-36DB88381443"
You can create new guids with many editors, or you can use online tools, for example:

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterHi Kristian,
You can use RSS to check the forum answers, use this url: https://gdl.graphisoft.com/forums/feed.
As I know, there is no solution in GDL to check the wall’s refline’s side in the current version – so the “flip” option is a known workaround, which is far from perfect in some situations…

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterYou can use any string parameter for storing an image name…

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterHi Carlos,
Is it a problem in sun study or flythrough or both? Can you tell me the localization and the buildnums of AC versions you tried?

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterHi James,
Unfortunately there is no request for that – only the model can be created with a profile from the fills. Drawing lines, hotspots, strech zones are not available from GDL in the current version (AC21).Gergely Fehér

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterTry this way with the additional params:
additional_data C4D_ChCol_State = 1, ! turn on the channel
C4D_ChCol_Texture = “1”, ! add a shader to the channel
C4D_ShImage_File_1 = “B_SARIMOV_51”Gergely Fehér

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterYou can only reach the connecting zones’ name, code, category and number with the “Zone_relations” and “Zone_relations_of_owner” requests.

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterYou can not get the profile geometry in paramscript, it is impossible in GDL.
The user can change the geometry of a profile without touching the object and running it’s paramscript, so if you could store any information from the profile, this change would make your placed objects’ parameters invalid.Gergely Fehér

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterJames,
Values should not be stored in parameter, as they can be changed without touching the object – so keeping the rules I think there is no real solution for that.

GRAPHISOFT SEGergely FehérKeymasterHi Barry,
I don’t think that anything is lost – it just a wrong “Freshness” data on some topics. I don’t know why it is working like this – it is the standard bbpress engine for wordpress, we did not changed anything in it. Will try to investigate…

GRAPHISOFT SEMay 15, 2017 at 09:16 in reply to: How to get coordinates of the section/elevation story line? #3236Gergely FehérKeymasterYou can simply open the section or elevation marker from a floorplan to GDL editor, then search for the name of the macro, and open it. You don’t need to search for it in the program folder, you won’t find it.
