Label preview in Favorites palette

Hello,
I am writing to inquire about the preview of labels that is drawn in the Favorites palette. We have some custom labels that read element parameters, such as Top of Wall or Roof Slope. When these are saved as favorites the values reported are zero, so the preview looks broken. I am hoping there is a way to substitute a fixed value for use by the preview. Thanks.
