      hello!

Is there a solution for this slanted empty opening/window, in a composite wall. (slanted reveal.pdf)
(it is a floorplan, ive drawn it from fill)

      for example:

is it possible to (make a copy from the original GDL object and) change the intervallum of the value of the angle to:
      -90 < value < +90
      (slanted reveal value extension.pdf)

i think it could solve my problem, but i don’t know how to do it.

or is there any other solution??

      thanks

By the way, you can create slanted reveals with the wallniche and wallhole commands, but it needs GDL knowledge. Openings in ARCHICAD Library uses the common WallHoleCut macro for this purpose.

      Thanks for your reply.

is it difficult to make an object like this?
an object which is a copy of an original opening, but has this small change?

(im really not a GDL expert)

This is not a small change – a new reveal type affects nearly everything in an opening: you need to take care of the sill, board, casing, cavity closure and sunshading elements. Besides these you need to modify the frame, to follow the wallhole, and it can modify the calculation of nominal sizes too. So it is a few days of work at least.
